This a repeat of a presentation done at a DEVA meeting earlier in the spring. Even if you have no intention of doing a conversion yourself, it is a good opportunity to find out about the engineering challenges related to making an e-bike. Also, a chance to see a hub motor taken apart so you can see inside.
Below is a link that will allow you to comment directly to the MTO about proposed e-bike regulations. Be forewarned that you will not find any 'proposal' but a list of what the regulations could be and a request to state what you think the regulations should be.
The Durham Electric Vehicle Association (DEVA) has extended an open invitation to any Durham E-Bike Association members to attend any of their regularly schedule meetings (normally on the first Thursday of each month.)
